DUO-COTECXIN^®: the fixed combination of dihydroartemisinin and piperaquine phosphate, was just included  in the recommendation list for the treatment of uncomplicated falciparum malaria in the Guidelines for Treatment of Malaria issued by WHO.

The efficacy is as high as 98.7%. It was highly appraised by doctors and patients because of the simple dosage regimen and low incidence of side effects.

Meanwhile, DUO-COTECXIN^® was approved that it has excellent post-treatment prophylaxis effect so as to reduce the risk of recrudescence, recurrence and re-infection.

Holley-Cotec is working on the clinical trials of application of DUO-COTECXIN^® as IPT in infants and pregnancies.
