● Year 2010

In April 2010, the company obtained the State-Level High-Tech Enterprise Certificate.

In April 2010, “Duo-Cotecxin” (9 tablets per pack) was successfully registered in Kenya, Tanzania, Malawi and Myanmar.

In March 2010, “WHO Malaria Treatment Guidelines” (2nd edition) was published by WHO, and Duo-Cotecxin (dihydroartemisinin and piperaquine as main components), which is the main product of Holley-Cotec, was officially listed in the directory of recommended medicines and became one of the five ACT components recognized and recommended by WHO for treating falciparum malaria.

● Year 2009

In November 2009, Holley-Cotec attended the Pan-African Malaria Conference, and organized a special conference on health.

In July 2009, the capital increase application of Holley-Cotec was approval by the Beijing Municipal Industry and Commerce, and the registered capital of company was increased from RMB 5 million yuan to 200 million yuan.

In June 2009, Duo-Cotecxin was officially incorporated into the first-line drugs in Myanmar and Cambodia.

● Year 2008

In July 2008, Duo-Cotecxin became one of the medicines stored for the Olympic Games.

In July 2008, Sino-Tanzanian Pharmaceutical Factory, the subsidiary of Holley-Cotec, received the production and sales permit issued by Tanzania Food and Drugs Authority (TFDA).

In June 2008, DIARRAFIN, an anti-diarrhea drug of Holley-Cotec, came on the market in Kenya.

● Year 2007

In October 2007, Diarrafin, the first non-antimalarial drug of Holley-Cotec, was registered successfully in Kenya.

In October 2007, Duo-Cotecxin was incorporated into the recommended antimalarial drug procurement list of the Global Fund.

In January 2007, Mr. Lu Chun-ming, president of Holley Pharma, attended the “Symposia of Representative of Chinese-Invested institutions in Africa” and was received by President Hu Jintao.

● Year 2006

In November 2006, during the Beijing Summit of China-Africa Cooperation Forum, Holley-Cotec successively met the presidents of Sierra Leone, Liberia, Uganda, Tanzania and Zambia and the Foreign Minister of Kenyan, received the visit of the First Lady of Niger, and participated in the “China-Africa Malaria Control Promotion Exhibition”.

In October 2006, Mr. Lu Chun-ming, the general manager of Holley-Cotec, was award the title as one of the ten Chinese people who have deeply moved the African people in the First China-Africa Friendship Award.

In September 2006, “Holley Medical Scholarship”program was officially established.

In August 2006, Holley-Cotec became the foreign aid antimalarial drug supply enterprise designated by the Ministry of Commerce of the P.R. China.

In April 2006, “COTECXIN” won the title of Beijing Famous Brand.

● Year 2005

In December 2005, Holley-Cotec set up a billboard in the Equator in Kenya.

In March 2005, the Delegation of Zambia’s First Lady visited the company.

● Year 2004

In December 2004, COTECXIN was successful in the international registration of trademark.

In September 2004, Holley-Cotec established a subsidiary in Tanzania.

In April 2004, Holley-Cotec set up offices in Kenya, Tanzania and Nigeria.

● Year 2003

In May 2003, the company actively raised anti-SARS materials during SARS period, and Capital Medical University and the Haidian Hospital sent a letter of appreciation and certificates.

In March 2003, the company obtained the import-export authority.

● Year 2002

In December 2002, the “High-Tech Enterprise Registration” of the company was approved.

In November 2002, the company was successfully restructured and renamed as Beijing Holley-Cotec Pharmaceuticals Co., Ltd.

In 2002, the first bid (for syringe) of the company in Mozambique was successful.

● Year 2000

In October 2000, Mr. Lu Chun-ming, the general manager of Holley-Cotec, was invited to attend the first China-Africa Forum in Beijing.

In April 2000, Mr. Lu Chun-ming, the general manager of Holley-Cotec, attended the Roll Back Malaria Conference which was held in Abuja, Nigeria and invited the African heads of state, and won the recognition and respect from African people.

In March 2000, Holley-Cotec obtained the registration certificate for COTECXIN Tablets in the most populous country in Africa – Nigeria, and opened the West African market.

● Year 1999

In August 1999, COTECXIN Tablets was successfully officially registered in Pakistan, which was a sign that the company’s products entered the Southeast Asian region from then on.

● Year 1998

In 1998, the company completed the expansion plan of the African market and successfully expanded from the East Africa to the West Africa, occupying a place in the traditional French pharmaceutical market.

In 1998, approved by Beijing Municipal Science & Technology Commission, Mr. Lu Chun-ming, with professional background, was officially appointed as the decision-maker of Holley-Cotec and started the overall management of the company.

● Year 1996

In November 1996, the company and Kenya Kaifuda Medical Equipment Company jointly undertook the Kenya Medical Equipment Exhibition in Beijing, which was hosted by Beijing Pharmaceutical Group Co., Ltd.

In April 1996, the minister of the Ministry of Commerce of P.R. China, Ms. Wu Yi, received Mr. Zhu Yan, the general manager of Holley-Cotec, Mr. Lei Ting, the vice general manager of Holley-Cotec, and Mr. Xue Feng, the representative of Holley-Cotec in Africa.

● Year 1995

In 1995, the company received the first economic assistance mission from the Ministry of Commerce of P.R. China, cooperated with China Medical Corporation for International Technical Cooperation (CMICO) to provide antimalarial drug COTECXIN to Ecuador.

● Year 1994

In October 1994, “COTECXIN” was registered successfully in Kenya and started official sales.

In June 1994, the company provided a number of COTECXIN Tablets to Cambodia through the Ministry of National Defense of P.R. China.

● Year 1993

In 1993, the general manager of Holley-Cotec visited Kenya, located in eastern Africa, for field survey, and initiated the development strategy for the entry of China’s antimalarial drugs into the international market with Africa as a breakthrough.

In April 1993, “COTECXIN” obtained the New Drug Certificate.

● Year 1992

In 1992, dihydroartemisinin was successfully developed, and was elected as one of the top ten scientific and technological achievements of the year and was subsequently praised as the “bombs and satellite” in the Chinese medicine sector.

On June 30, 1992, Beijing Municipal Science and Technology Commission officially approved the establishment of Beijing Cotec New Technology Co., Ltd. On September 18, 1992, the company was officially launched.
